چکیده

Abstract The decolourization of an aqueous solution the textile dye Acid Red 88 (AR88) and control invasive plant species Acacia dealbata Link . (ADL) were addressed in this work. aims study (1) characterization ADL pollen, (2) application pollen powder adsorption processes, (3) selection best operational conditions for nitriloacetic acid (NTA)-UV-A-Fenton process (4) assess efficiency combined treatment NTA-UV-A-Fenton AR88 decolourization. In a first step, was used as bioadsorbent. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis performed revealed presence proteins, fatty acids, carbohydrates lignin pollen. Afterwards, trough scanning electron microscopy (SEM), it possible to verify that has several empty spaces can be adsorption. Biosorption results showed higher with pH 3.0 [pollen] = g/L 18.8 mg/g adsorbed. fitting observed Langmuir, SIPS Jovanovic isotherms (0.993, 0.996 0.994, respectively). To complement biosorption, UV-A-Fenton applied, removal (NTA) addition. Higher irradiance power favored oxidation high Ф photodegradation value low Electric Energy per Order ( $$E_{\text{EO}}$$ E EO ) Specific Applied $$E_{\text{SAE}}$$ SAE ). combination biosorption most efficient system 98.5% total organic carbon (TOC) 83.5%. Removal of textile dye from aqueous solutions by nanofiltration process

The feasibility of employing nanofiltration (NF) in the decolorization of ionic (direct blue 86) and nonionic (disperse blue 56) dye aqueous solutions was investigated. The effects of feed concentration (60- 180 mg/l), pressure (0.5- 1.1 MPa) and pH (6- 10) were studied. Experiments were performed in a laboratory- scale set up by using a TFC commercial spiral wound polyamide nanofilter. The res...

Performance Evaluation of Combined Process of Powdered Activated Carbon-Activated Sludge (PACT) in Textile Dye Removal

Introduction: The Powdered Activated Carbon Treatment (PACT) has been proposed as an alternative in wastewater treatment and wastewater biomass protection against toxic substances. This study aims to evaluate PACT performance in treating dyes, acid orange, and remazol brilliant reactive blue. Materials and Methods: This empirical- applied research was carried out in pilot scale in which differ...

Coupling adsorption by NiO nanopowder with UV/H2O2 process for Cr(VI) removal

Chromium enters surface and ground waters through the wastewater of electroplating, textile, metallurgical, dye production, and other industries, leading to numerous adverse health effects. The potential property of nanoparticle adsorption of nickel oxide (NiO) and the economic nature of ultraviolet/hydrogen peroxide (UV/H2O2) process have eased the usage of these two proc...

Natural and induced polyploidy in Acacia dealbata Link. and Acacia mangium Willd.

Seeds were obtained from seven natural populations of Acacia dealbata, three natural populations of A. mangium and a seed orchard of A. mangium, representing the natural range of the two species. Polyploids were discovered in two of the seven populations of A. dealbata. The 2C DNA amount for diploid A. dealbata (2n = 2x = 26) was 1.74 pg, and for diploid A. mangium (2n = 2x = 26) was 1.30 pg. A...
